I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the Friends of Music during the past year, particularly the Executive Board , my wife - who was there to do everything I forgot (and I forgot a lot!), Dave George and Phil Lehr for yet another successful Band Show, Brian Timmons and Jack Kupp for their guidance and support and all the volunteers who answered our calls for help time and again. I hope that I've served you well, and, as one final word to those members who are not active participants, please make an effort to be an active member. This is a terrific organization where you can help your children, make new friends and get a real feel for what being a student in the Bergenfield School District Music Department encompasses. Our children have a daunting legacy to uphold, and every year they impress more and more people across the state. By being active in the Friends of Music, you can feel this pride and be proud of what our children have accomplished.
In closing, I wish Mike and the rest of the Executive Board much success in the next school year and look forward to helping in any way I can. This organization is in good hands and together we can make the Music Department more enriching for our children and the community as a whole. Enjoy your summer and I'll see you at the Boil-a-que!!!
