Hello all. I hope you have been well. Even though I’m still working, I seem to have a lot of free time on my hands so I came up with an idea that I hope you’ll like.

Since we weren’t officially able to drink in high school, I’m proposing a BHS 67 “Happy Hour” to be held on, what a surprise, Zoom. Joe DiMaggio and I have set up a Zoom site and our first get-together will be Thursday, April 23, at 4:00pm (EDT). Please bring your beverage of choice, be it alcoholic or non. That’s up to you.

Since actual travel is not possible, and, since many of us have not seen each other in a few years, I thought this might be a perfect way to connect or reconnect. I have no agenda, other than to hear how the last 53 (yikes) years have treated you. Where are you living? Are you still working? How many grandchildren/pets do you have? Who painted the Dumont football stadium? Who is Gulliver Gillick? Etc., etc., etc.

Depending on the interest, we could do this on a regular basis, monthly quarterly, some other random schedule. I was also thinking that this might turn into a fund raising activity, especially since there are more than enough needy causes. Call it a Cover Fee. Just a thought and perhaps we can come up with a few ideas during our first “Happy Hour”.
