The Bergenfield class of 1979 is having their Pre-30th High School Reunion on Saturday, June 23rd at Memorial Park in Bergenfield, beginning at 2PM.

The class of ’79 did not have a 25 year reunion. A group of 4 friends got together and decided to organize this event because they did not want to wait for the 30th reunion in 2009. They also thought this Pre-30th would be a good way to determine interest in a 30th reunion.

Alumni are invited to bring their families. It’s going to be very casual so alumni should bring a blanket, a picnic for your party, Frisbees, etc. There’s no charge so it’s BYOS (bring your own stuff). Note: Alcoholic beverages of any kind are not permitted by policy of the town.

Because not all alumni are listed on the Bergenfield High School website, word of mouth is encouraged to let other alumni classmates know of this event.

Interested alumni should contact via e-mail any of the 3 people listed to let them know of their attendance. This event should be a lot of fun for the BHS class of ’79!
